My name is Andrew McIlwaine - I'm an amateur photographer based in Hampshire in the South East of the United Kingdom. I currently shoot with a Fujifilm X-T4 and previously with Nikon crop frame DSLRs.
My photography is about the increase of joy - for myself and for other people. Looking through a lens, particularly with the sun warming my back, brings me joy. Turning what I’ve captured into a picture that tells a story gives life to that joy. And putting the pictures I've made online means I can share the joy I’ve experienced with other people.
I'd love to hear feedback on my pictures, but please be kind - I'm not a professional! I’d particularly like to hear about what you’ve enjoyed in the pictures I’ve made and how I could develop my photography further.
